BOOSTING TEEN MENTAL HEALTH IN EUROPE AND BEYOND
Supported by Horizon Europe, the IMPROVA programme will test and evaluate the adoption of an eHealth platform focused on promoting mental health and early-detecting mental health issues in secondary schools across Europe. IMPROVA empowers adolescents and families to make better decisions regarding their mental health and provides schools and the community with tools to achieve a society with better mental health and lower stigma.

Breaking Barriers: Tackling Mental Health Stigma Through E-Inclusion
On 7 October 2025, IMPROVA took part in the Mental Health Dialogues webinar “Breaking Barriers: Tackling Mental Health Stigma Through E-Inclusion.” The session, held ahead of World Mental Health Day, brought together Horizon Europe projects working to make digital mental health tools more inclusive, accessible, and stigma-free.
IMPROVA Newsletter – 5th Edition
The IMPROVA consortium has been very busy over the past months, and we are delighted to share our progress with you in our 3rd project newsletter! Thanks to the hard work of our consortium, we are all set to begin our field trial phase in the coming weeks, where we’ll be trialing the IMPROVA intervention in schools in France, Germany, Romania and Spain.
IMPROVA presents at the Deutsche Psychotherapiekongress 2025 in Berlin
On 10th April, Nils Berghoff from IMPROVA presented the IMPROVA project at the 2025 German Psychotherapy Congress in Berlin, taking part in the symposium “Innovative approaches to promoting mental health in youth – prevention, early detection and support through modern technologies and participatory methods”.
First round of IMPROVA Policy Dialogues take place in Bilbao
On 5th June, colleagues from the Trimbos Institute (leading work package 5 on policy translations, sustainability and recommendations for scale up), Deusto University, and Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu held the first round of policy dialogues at Deusto University, Spain
