We are delighted to invite you to a multidisciplinary symposium exploring the critical factors associated with population-level mental health and addiction risks. The event, “Mental Health and Addiction: Understanding Determinants to Improve Population Well-Being,” is organised by Maria Melchior, this year’s Annual Chair of Public Health at the Collège de France and member of the IMPROVA research team at Inserm (the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research).
This symposium brings together experts from the fields of epidemiology, psychiatry, economics, politics, and sociology. Presentations will focus heavily on the social determinants of health, examining how economic, societal, and political structures impact our lives from childhood and adolescence through to adulthood and aging.
