On 5th June, Deusto University was delighted to host the IMPROVA Mid Term Event, including the special event  “Boosting Mental Health in Children & Adolescents: Promotion, Prevention & Intervention”, hosted in person at Deusto University and online. The was opened and moderated by Rocío García-Carrión, Ikerbasque professor at Deusto University and work package leader for the IMPROVA project. The event was then divided into two presentations: a presentation and overview of the initial results of the IMPROVA project by scientific coordinator Rodrigo Antunes Lima, and keynote speech by esteemed professor Pim Cuijpers on the treatment and prevention of depression in children and adolescents, with an audience question and answer session following each presentation.

 The event enjoyed a high turnout both in person and online, with 60 in-person participants and 45 online attendees.
