On the 27th April 2025, Rocío García-Carrión and Sarah Jack from the IMPROVA Consortium presented the paper “Co-creation for Cultivating Emotional Wellbeing in Adolescents: A Methodological Framework for School-Based Mental Health Interventions”. This paper was a collective work by the presenting authors together with consortium members Rodrigo Antunes Lima, Catrin Finkenhauer, Hester Sijtsma, Coriena de Heer, Harald Baumeister, Ann-Marie Kuechler and Mariona Perez Anton.
The presentation consisted of an overview of IMPROVA and an elaboration of what co-creation looks like within the project. They also discussed the challenges, benefits and lessons learned from this approach based on the experiences of the consortium so far. The presenting authors then engaged in a discussion with fellow presenters, in which they answered questions and shared their perspective and experience on the topic.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to share and disseminate IMPROVA among the academic and scientific community at an international level.
