The IMPROVA project held its General Assembly meeting on the 17th and 18th of October 2024 in Cluj, Romania. The meeting was hosted by Babeș-Bolyai University and brought together 25 members of the IMPROVA consortium, representing the various institutions and Work Packages from across the project.
This General Assembly provided an important opportunity for participants to review the progress made so far and come together to make decisions on various aspects of the project development. Among the key issues discussed were trial site preparations and the need for close coordination between all participating countries to ensure a smooth start to the trials.
The field trials, a critical phase in the IMPROVA project, will take place in secondary schools in Romania, Germany, France, and Spain and run throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. In this phase of the project, we are introducing IMPROVA to schools, offering access to an online platform packed with engaging activities and resources, as well as providing teachers with classroom activities. The IMPROVA materials, developed by our team of experts, are designed to foster mental well-being across the entire school community, reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, and provide valuable resources to enhance mental health awareness and literacy. Students, school staff and teachers will contribute to the co-creation of the final IMPROVA intervention by providing their input and feedback throughout the field trial.
The next General Assembly is scheduled to take place in 2025, when partners will reconvene to evaluate progress and set the course for the project’s next phase.
