On the 12th and 13th October, members of the IMPROVA consortium gathered in Wurzburg, Germany, for the project’s 2nd General Assembly. Wurzburg is home to the Institute of Clinical Epidemiology and Biometry, one of the IMPROVA partners responsible for developing the IMPROVA platform.
Participants discussed the progress made by each partner and set the next steps for the project’s development. All Work Packages have made good progress so far and are on track with deadlines and reports. The project has a busy period ahead making contact with education stakeholders to understand the appropriateness, acceptability and feasibility of the IMPROVA program trial. During this co-creation phase, adolescents, teachers, school staff and policymakers will be asked to share their perspectives about the project as well as on the main barriers and facilitators for implementing the program. At the same time, preparation of the material for the platform and translation into other languages will begin, in parallel with the drafting of the recruitment process methodology for getting schools and participants on board.
All partners were delighted by the progress made within the project and look forward to the next General Assembly, which will be held in Utrecht in April 2024.
